Above all else, these dinners are about a feeling of connectivity, intimate and kind connection. Sometimes with perfect strangers, sometimes with the one that came alongside us. Each evening is about taking something unexpected, perhaps untouched for a while, and bringing life into them. Always centered around breaking bread and drinking wine. A collection of evenings that I savor in reflection and relish in listening to the fond whispers as the calendar creates a gap between them. The Fortitude and Finn dinners create space for each of us to dwell in an atmosphere that causes slowness in our souls, a pause, a deep breath in; to spark laughter and encourage conversation beyond the topical sentences we share more easily throughout our days. Always without an ask. Always just to come and be present.
November 6th will be simple. Divine. Bursting with flavor, charm, and art.
I look forward to welcoming you.
Arrival time: You’ll be parking in the lot just outside of the Olympic Museum. Please join me for a cocktail at 5 PM on the grey steps.
We’ll then be sharing in a walk to the undisclosed space of mostly concrete floors and white walls— she’s a little bit gritty and holds a whole way of beauty.
Dress attire invites layers, textures, and neutrals.
If you’re here, reading through this, I hope your next step is to reserve a seat, or two. This evening of November 6th will be easy and enjoyable and it’s important that you’re there with me, with us.
