An oil a Day | How we use Essential Oils

An oil a Day | How we use Essential Oils

The last few months have been pretty nutty around here. Between weaning Amos from nursing and life unfolding as it does my stress levels have been pretty high and my hormones have been whack. A few months ago, as though God knew I’d need an actual chill pill, a dear friend recommended I try Neroli. She said it smells good enough to wear as a perfume but it also helps to balance hormones. Upon further research I learned it helps to calm and seriously ease people’s levels. So after committing to the order, I put Amos down for a nap, slathered that stuff on the back of my neck and my wrists and I seriously turned into the most zen human. I actually didn’t google it until after I started noticing myself slowing down and then realized that I shouldn’t have tried it out before a concentrated work session. Ha! But knowing what I know now, I’m so thankful for it and actually look forward to it. Especially on the weekend when I have space to relax. It’s a small fortune but I think I’ll put it in a roller and make it last longer and the cost per use will be worth it for all of the chill it provides a tightly wound 7 like me.
