Friday Nights | Old Colorado City
Friends, date night called our name and we acted on it. I cannot believe it's been nine (okay almost 10) months and I just haven't made time to go out with Justin, one on one. We've definitely been out with friends, for friends, but not just us. Europe was fabulous and Amos was such a trooper but I was wearing him or we were pushing him along to each spot. So after a shoot that I had at Upstairs Wine Bar, it was easy to make time to have Justin take me (haha) to OCC for a cute date.
The night's air felt a little crisper than when I was there days prior but the views were just as dreamy and the wine, even better than the first time. He and I enjoyed small bites and seriously good wine. The ambiance steadies at quaint and intimate. The air has a quiet about it, in a really good way. The staff is kind and careful, intentional and present but very background which makes for a little getaway to feel extra sweet for J and I. I just wanted to post a few photos and encourage you, no matter what stage of life you're in to keep dating your person. It's good for the soul. xx-km
