Travel | Nashville Part l
Nashville was next on the moving list post New York + pre return to Justin. So, it didn’t work out but I really love visiting and the fact that some of our favorite humans have moved here have sure made it even dreamier. I wanted to log on and write a quick post with a blend of things we’ve loved so far, tips for traveling with a teething toddler and some extra pictures than what I’ve posted incased you’re addicted to photos, like me, and want more. ha!
Favorite Places We’ve Been….
We’re staying in East Nashville. Our cousin, Lauren’s, apartment is adorable and walking distance to a few cute places. We’ve visited cute parks, walked through pretty trees, we get to listen + see the train from her balcony which is Amos’ version of a FIVE STAR stay and best of all it come with her + nespresso in hand as soon as my feet hit the floor and it’s she’s a plant maven, so this place is exploding with greenery. A few favorite moments in her space are below. The line art is from HERE.
Walking distace is this GEM of a restaurant. I love when you walk into a place and it brings you to another in your heart. Add Cafe Roze to the list! We shared a breakfast of delicious coffee and tomato jam + egg and bacon sandwiches on the first day and my mouth is still watering. My girlfriend says lunch is even better. It’s a must if you visit.
The greenery here is lovely, dreamy, gorgeous + obviously a sight to see. A few of our best so far are below. Great for traveling with kids or to get lost on during a walk with someone you love or honestly, I could go on a solid solo adventure at any of these.
Belle Meade for a run, a breathtaking walk or a drive through some of the most beautiful homes is 100% worth visiting. We know I love some home gazing.
Down below is at a park called, Sevier Park. It’s at the very end of a road/area called 12 South that has a million adorable shops. I haven’t explored the shops yet but we’re heading back and I can’t wait because Imogen & Willie is there and I’ve followed them on IG for ages. With or without kids this whole area is awesome. These trees are just so tall, I LOVE watching him play paired with the backdrop for me.
As for a few quick tips with the babe. We’ve had a time on this trip. He’s been excellent in so many ways but it’s been inclusive of extra fits and clingyness because of his teething. I’m so glad that I thought to grab the essential oil trifecta, Sleepygize + Copaiba + Gentle Baby. I’ve been slathering Gentle Baby during or near fits and it’s an immediate soothing. Sleepygize before bed and on epsom salts in the bath and Copaiba all day for the numbing of his gums. Lots of TV and lots of reminding myself not to worry about what others think. We’re all just doing our best. Stay strong mama’s + dada’s. If you have oil questions, message me or CLICK HERE.
