Travel Guide | Breckenridge Wine Classic
#breckwineclassic
I kind of just loved this whole thing. I didn’t get to participate in all of the activities because we had some sweet friends coming to visit which had been booked for actual months. But for the stroll that my friend, Mackenzie, and I did partake, the Breckenridge Stroll, made up for the rest of the weekend.
No matter how many times I go to a wine tasting I’m always thinking, “but will there actually be enough?” Haha! There always is. I have the thousand photos and hours of conversation to prove it.
The leaves have changed and from what I’ve heard peaked, already! What?! Fall, what happened? Don’t leave us. The mountainsides took our breath away at every turn on our drive in and the air changed to a crisp cool during the early evening and completely cold by the time we were walking home. I really loved the tastings being facilitated in art galleries and local businesses. Since I only get to Breck a couple of times a year it’s nice to see specific shops that I may not usually pop into and it’s always nostalgic and refreshing for me to catch some art along the way.
Walking around, drinking wine, enjoying a dear friend and taking pictures like a bunch of cool kids everywhere we went felt great. The views stopped us in our tracks over and over and those quaint feels were everywhere.
I was able to bring Amos and my Mama along for every second that we weren’t walking the wine route- I love that. I adore having A with me and Mama is everyone’s favorite. Ames and I were up early the next morning so we went on a run and I completely underestimated the “chill” of the mountain town. I mean, we FROZE. He and I shared a blueberry pop over at Cool River Coffee and I drank up 2 lattes before leaving.
Friends, if you live in COS, make it a point to go for a day or one night to the mountains. It restores our souls. It’s so good and often leave us all feeling so refreshed and new. Especially during fall.
Cheers to you. Make plans for #breckwineclassic next year. I loved partnering with them and hope to bring the whole tour to you next Fall. xx-k
