Curating Home | Baby Nook

Yay! I’ve finally put together the rest of our master room in preparation for the baby. I’m excited to share. I decided to take 1/2 of our shelves down and create a little space that was more functional and slightly cuter. Okay a lot cuter. The tricky part of our room is that it’s a perfect square… which doesn’t offer much charm. The square situation results in me trying to create texture without consuming walkable space….although our bedrooms are large their shape makes it fun-ky.

AFTER

I searched high and low for the hanger bar featured above and finally decided on this Birch Wood Hanger… I love it and it was super easy to hang. (thank you, Justin)

I’m tired of 10 bags (of mine) in the mudroom so I put everything away that isn’t used on the reg and these few + the one I was using that day have been hung to add a little femininity to the room, without being overbearing.

And I added a mirror back in our room! Yay! I lent my previous full length to my Studio and never brought it home so I’ve been standing on the edge of our guest bath tub for over a year to see my outfits and I’m feeling real delighted with this little detail being hung on the wall.

But the best change of all….

We nabbed this handmade, real wood bassinet rocker from a company I found on IG called, Eco Baby Trends. They’ve been lovely to work with and the quality of the product is second to none. I feel like because Justin works in the wood industry everything that comes through our home is tested to the fullest in terms of quality. He’s pleased, I’m thankful. We don’t have the ring that holds the basket tightened up properly yet but I really like the feature of it holding the basket snuggly. With Amos being very curious about all things baby the extra tight hold makes me feel better. Eco Baby Trends makes Moses basket rockers for multiple largely trending woven bassinet makers and they offer different types of wood to match your home. They’re very worth it.

enjoy today. xx-k
