Daydreaming : Farmers Market

Daydreaming : Farmers Market

Good morning + happy Saturday, sweet readers.

During the past few weeks, between the photo shoots and the holiday excitement I've created some space for daydreaming and I can't say that I've hated it.

Fortitude and Finn came out of a place of wanting to share the yield of our property. Guys, we have so much space and it all holds so many stories! We bought this place from the 70 year old children of a beautiful couple that built their lives here. Each little shed, building, each room of our actual home feels full of stories, love and wonderful memories that we'll never actually know. My poor husband has to contend with my emotional attachment to each structure because we're both positive they were each built with love and intention for life to come from it. This place is dreamy and beautiful and a little bit crazy in size but it fills the land-loving, country boy in my husband's heart and I super love looking at it. Six-thirty on a Summer evening, favorite. Breathing in this Piney fresh air, Favorite. The space for our garden.. F A V O R I T E. So while we were growing so many delicious veggies in our garden during 2015, I thought, we've got to share this. Fast forward to Winter of 2017, I'm beginning to map out the garden for this summer. Oh and the chicken coop, and the studio, and the- and the- and the....

So I'm sharing the things. Justin and I will get the garden going and then I'm thinking about having open hours where friends can come and garden and the perk, they (you?) get to take veggies home with you when they're ready. Summer is going to taste good. If I can twist my husband's arm, maybe we'll have eggs for you to take home also. I'm also dreaming up turning the little shed that's featured below into a little shop. I'm imagining woven baskets, fresh flowers, a place to hold ready produce for pickup, eggs, maybe my favorite goat milk caramels from my friend in Scottsdale? If you have an opinion, what else would you like to see out there? Dream with me, friends, I want to know what feels magical for you. xx-k
