Stroller Stories | Nuna USA

Come back to 1990 with me. I'm five. We're living in Phoenix. All five of us. We're around our 1/2 octagon, 1/2 oval, orange-brown 1970's dining room table you know passing bread, catching up, I'm probably begging for soda. My dad subtly? asks, "Have any of you noticed mom's stomach is getting bigger?" Real smooth dad, haha. "No, dad." "Are you sure?" "We're sure." "Well, Deanne, you tell..." "No, you tell..." You get the idea. Five minutes later my world changes for all of the better. Our Mama was pregnant with an unexpected to me, and so longed for by my parents BABY. Fast forward a few years, I have another set of vivid memories of all of the stroller problems. I don't know why this sticks with me guys, but for real, I remember being so frustrated that the front wheels would stick, that if anyone let go with one hand our baby brother started doing donuts in his stroller and the folding and unfolding was brutal. Kick forward another oh, 27 years I found out I was pregnant with our first babe. One of my first thoughts when it came to buying baby items was that I was going to make sure the stroller pushed like a breeze and was easy to fold.

Found it!

I visited a friend in CA and I was holding my coffee in one hand and pushing her stroller around like a breeze, at the beach, with ONE HAND. Redemption for strollers everywhere! I then spent hours in different stores trying different brands, texting girlfriends and sister-in-laws and after dragging 3 people to the store with me, Justin and I unanimously agreed on the Nuna MIXX2.

AND THEN, we got another stroller. What? We left our Nuna MIXX2 in Phx. I love and adore that thing and in preparation for another (sometime, no dates mom and dad x2) and also convenience while traveling back and forth to Phx often we increased our stroller collection. This guy that just came out, the Demi Grow is gold. Amos sweats like a grown man doing yard work in June and I can unzip all of the cushioning that keeps him warm and cozy in the winter during the Summer. Underneath the snuggle is the best summer mesh that keeps him comfortable and allows for airflow. You're welcome, Amos. It feels like, looks like, lifts like a single stroller but it also has 23 different ways to place the a second seat on it for when there is another. The feature list goes on and on and I'm so glad Nuna finally made a double. Honestly it's what we would've bought the first time around had it been released. So for all of you pregnant mama's... Yay! You get to have a double and grow into it while loving the ease of it's single capabilities. Clearly, I'm a big fan... If you have questions... ask away.
